The ACMI staff in company of the visiting team under the leadership of Bishop Mullet started preaching Jesus in Nginyi, a small village south of ACMI’s. It started on Wednesday and till Sunday, they preached on. The campaigns saw 11 people come to Christ and several others received prayer and hope. The children were amused at mzungus visiting their village and were extremely excited that they would play with them, give them sweets and on and on. On Saturday evening after the preaching, the villagers were treated to a meal before they got to their homes, while on Sunday which was the final day, had a larger number in attendance. We thank God for enabling us to preach to these people and we are now tasked with follow up with the new believers and those that are still making a decision whether to have Christ.
On Friday evening after the meetings, the visiting team together with ACMI staff visited Journey of Hope Home to pray for the children (16 of them) who have been admitted in the home. Coming from a background of grief, hunger, lack and at times rejection, the team was there to minister hope, love and share a meal.
