The year 2016 has a theme of New Beginnings drawn from Isaiah 43:18-19, and we in ACMI are fired up with new enthusiasm as we look forward for a fresh new start. Year 2015 was a year of conquest and as a mission organization we were able to conquer and venture into new territories not forgetting reaching out to the already familiar ones. It was last year that God broadened our mandate, and directed us to launch into new grounds of salvaging our younger generation in High schools from the grip of evil. God laid a burden to his servant Bishop Dr. Henry Mulandi and gave him a vision of laying a 10 year plan of reaching out to high school students. Last year alone we had set a target of reaching 30000 students, with the ultimate goal of seeing 10% of these saved and discipled. Every holiday we focussed on holding a camp for the students, for impartation and Empowerment. By the grace of God, we partnered with like minded teams and organizations and we went beyond all our targets for the year. We were humbled by the move of God in the schools as we witnessed many students getting delivered from demonic bondages, many healed, many restored and many dedicating their lives to the Lord. We had four Empowerment summits for the students, where one was held in our Vision Village, another in Lodwar, another in Machakos and the other in Kitui. We give God all the Glory. We also had the monthly Village outreaches where we helped plant a new church in a remote village in Mwingi and also strengthened many other churches in different villages, and God was very present in all this meetings. This year we look forward to do more in high school and also village outreaches. God has laid yet another burden to Bishop Dr. Henry Mulandi on doing a chaplaincy training to Christian Teachers and police officers, this will be hapening in April, August and December. This will empower them to adequately deal with challenges in the schools, and help the police be well prepared to reach out to their collegues.
